Migration to 5 Digit Visitor PINs

For convenience we opted for 4 digit PINs when we changed the Visitor Management solution.  The number of concurrent visits on the site has increased and we have therefore taken the decision to move to a 5 digit PIN model to further reduce the risk of transposed digits creating confusion at the gate.

Migration Date: Thursday 7th October

Important Notes:

  1. The migration to 5 digit PINs will be completed at midnight on Wednesday the 6th of October.

  2. From 00:01 on the 7th of October only 5 digit PINs will be supported on the system.

  3. All 4 digit PINs that are still active at 00:00 on the 6th of October will be deleted from the system.

  4. On the morning of Wednesday the 7th of October all Visitors requiring PINs will require NEW PINs recreated by a resident.

  5. NO # will be required to be used after the PIN once 5 digit PINs are in use.

Generating a 5 digit PIN

The OneSpace App remains the same and the steps to create PINs is as before. Now the PIN generated will be a 5 digit PIN

1. Open the OneSpace App

2. Select “New PIN”

3. In the optional comments line add the reason for the visit.  This is a not a mandatory field.

  • If you are requesting a contactor PIN please type “Contractor”

4. Choose the date of the visit

5. Select “Submit”

6. The PIN created will now be shown and can be shared as before
